I created the digital composition above by merging one of my mixed media sketchbook abstracts with one of the photos I took from a collaboration @stokesjaronalex and I did with @stuinsd in 2013. Utilizing another photo from this series for reference I also started a new sketchpad with this blind contour drawing in charcoal pencil below of Stu.

The image of @stuinsd below was used to create the digital art of @stuinsd above.

The next image of @stuinsd was used as inspiration for my one of my earliest photo reference drawings which follows.

The image was drawn with Derwent Inktense Pencils. The image was then wet to set the ink to permanent and the following monoprint was made by pressing the wet image into another sketchbook with gold foil and acrylic.

The next set of images is from a private session with Stu in 2023.

This reference drawing was done in 2024.
